The Sound of Music
Total volume of music files on my computer
8.59 GB. Sadly my downloading was cut down when I exceeded my broadband limit this month.
The last CD or cassette I bought
Hariprasad Chaurasia, Raag Malkhauns and some other raag I’ve forgotten. I adore Malkhauns
Songs playing right now
Five albums that mean a lot to me
Favourite concept albums
See, I’m not really the type who analyses the concept behind albums and themes etc. If I like the music then I like the album! So I’m not going to fill anything here.

Five songs that mean a lot to me
- Pink Floyd – Shine on you crazy diamond – The intro is absolutely mindblowing. Every time I hear it I have to stop whatever else I’m doing and just listen, especially during the bit when the guitar first starts
- Dire Straits – Telegraph Road – I love the instrumental bit after the 13th minute or so
- Pink Floyd – Time – The lyrics in this song make a lot of sense, in a pessimistic
- Led Zep – No Quarter – A song to go high on!
- Beatles – Can’t Buy Me Love – Call it childish or immature or whatever, this song never fails to make me happy!

Hey, we're living in the eighties. Fucking cool!
hey.. awesome choice of music!!
how's trainng?
Well, detracked, I hardly know the music that's on nowadays, I prefer the good old classic stuff! And suze, training is very much like school (not even college!) as we have class seven hours daily. I won't be setting foot in my office till August end. You seem to be having an amazing and stressful time in Ahd
Maroon 5 is current anyway.. And I love that song... :-)
Hi, came in thru abhimanyu's blog. Great to find a fellow floyd-straits-led zep-classical music fan. Agree that floyd's lyrics are often best when they have an air of pessimism... And your fav book pics are good too... but personally i like maugham's 'razor's edge' better than 'of human bondage'.Not many ppl would agree with that though :)

how do you get high if you have no quarter? and floyd songs do mean a lot of different things to different people.
Thanks. :)

# Led Zep – No Quarter – A song to go high on!
Can't agree with you more!
I hope you were referring to the Live Version!
the intro on 'shine on you crazy diamond' = heaven. BTW came here from orkut.
Nice place you got here.
Cheers
